Shockwave Therapy

Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) is a non invasive treatment modality used to provide analgesia, decrease inflammation and accelerate healing of bone and soft tissue injury. There is abundant research on the use of ESWT with back pain, tendon/ligament healing and osteoarthritis in addition to more recent focus on the use of ESWT to minimize exercise induced pulmonary hemorrhage (EIPH).
